Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & age requirement

Meet For Dinks is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By creating an account, you affirmatively represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that all information you provide — including your age — is accurate and truthful.

We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to use the Service. If we learn or receive a credible report that a member is under 18, we will remove that account. If you believe a member is underage, please report them so we can take action.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect any unauthorized use. You may not share your account or create an account on behalf of someone else.

3. What Meet For Dinks is for

Meet For Dinks helps pickleball players connect — to find opponents, doubles partners, practice partners, friends, a group to play with, or someone to date who loves the game. You agree to use the Service for these community purposes and not to misuse it.

4. Community guidelines & conduct

Meet For Dinks only works if everyone treats each other with respect. You agree that you will not:

• Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate other members.
• Post content that is hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate.
• Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation.
• Solicit money, promote scams, spam, or advertise without permission.
• Share other members' private information without their consent.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Content you post

You retain ownership of the photos, messages, and other content you share. By posting content, you grant Meet For Dinks a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate and provide the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except to the extent the content has been shared with others who have not deleted it, or where we must retain it to comply with law.

You are responsible for what you post, and you represent that you have the right to post it. You agree not to post anything that infringes someone else's rights, is unlawful, or violates these Terms. We may remove content that breaks these rules. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, contact us at the address below and we will respond to valid notices.

6. Safety, screening & meeting members in person

Meet For Dinks does not conduct criminal background checks, identity verification, or any other screening of its members. We do not vouch for, endorse, or verify the identity, age, background, or intentions of any member. You are solely responsible for evaluating who you choose to communicate with, meet, or play with.

Physical activity and meeting new people carry inherent risks, including the risk of injury from play and the risks of interacting with strangers. Use good judgment: meet in a public place, tell a friend where you are going, keep personal information private until you are comfortable, and trust your instincts.

You knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with using the Service, communicating with other members, and meeting or playing with them, whether online or offline. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Meet For Dinks and its owners, operators, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, damages, or liabilities of any kind arising out of or in any way connected with your interactions with other members or your participation in any activity, game, or meeting.

7. Reporting & enforcement

You can block or report any member directly from their profile. We review reports and may remove content, warn, suspend, or permanently ban members who violate these Terms — at our discretion and without notice where appropriate.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we need to protect the community or the Service. Some provisions of these Terms survive termination.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any member is who they claim to be.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meet For Dinks and its owners, operators, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss or injury arising from your use of the Service or your interactions with other members. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meet For Dinks and its owners, operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your content, your interactions with other members, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or the rights of another person.

11. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Charleston County, South Carolina, and you consent to their jurisdiction — unless a binding arbitration or other dispute process is agreed upon in writing.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
